With great excitement we are pleased to advise that Great Southern Flying School has recently gained accreditation with Recreational Aviation Australia (RAAus) to offer students the choice of learning pathways – either a CASA approved General Aviation learning path, or a RAAus Recreational Aviation pathway.

General Aviation & Recreational Aviation training will be offered from our main training base in Barwon Heads, whilst from Bendigo Airport we will continue to offer General Aviation training. Those looking to fly recreationally from Bendigo should visit our friends at the Bendigo Flying Club.

We are also excited to announce a new instructor, Shane Stanley, joining the Great Southern Flying School family. Shane is a Surf Coast local, with over 15,000 hours flying commercially with Virgin Australia. Shane will be focused on passing on his knowledge & passion for aviation with RAAus students.
