Sometimes the basic level of a pilot’s certificate or licence isn’t enough for you to achieve what you wish as either a private or commercial pilot.
As both a Recreational Aviation and General Aviation training school, we are able to offer students the following Rating & Endorsement options:
Multi-Engine Endorsements
A multi engine class rating allows the pilot to fly a multi engine aeroplane under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) conditions.
Requirements:
- CASA PPL or CPL
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
Night VFR Ratings
Enjoy the benefits of being able to fly an aeroplane during the night hours. You will learn the techniques required for night circuits and navigation.
Requirements:
- CASA PPL or CPL
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
Private Instrument Ratings
The Private Instrument Rating (PIFR) allows a private pilot to fly in cloud for the cruise segments of a flight. This means no instrument approach / departures, but still allows the freedom of flying through cloud.

- CASA PPL or CPL
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
Command Instrument Rating-Single Engine
Allows you to fly in Instrument Meteorological Conditions(IMC) CLOUD and NIGHT.
Use instrument approaches and navigate without external vision.
Requirements:
- CASA PPL or CPL
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
Multi-Engine Command Instrument Ratings
In a twin engine aircraft it allows you to fly in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) CLOUD and NIGHT, including handling failures and issues with your aircraft. Use instrument approaches and navigate without external vision.

- CASA PPL or CPL
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
Instructor Ratings and Upgrades
We offer training & checks for pilots to become, maintain or upgrade Grade 3, 2 & 1 Flight Instructor status.

- CASA PPL or CPL
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
Complete Beechcraft Kingair BE200 Type ratings
Our Chief Flying Instructor is an expert on the KingAir BE200 aircraft. We are able to offer a complete KingAir BE200 Type ratings, including simulator sessions.
Requirements:
- CASA PPL or CPL
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
RA-Aus Passenger
This endorsement allows a pilot to fly with a passenger on board
Requirements:
- RA-Aus RPC
RA-Aus Navigation
This endorsement allows a pilot to fly, as well as land, beyond 25 nautical miles of the departure aerodrome.
Requirements:
- RA-Aus RPC
RA-Aus Controlled Air Space
This endorsement allows a pilot to fly into controlled air space, which in turn increases the number of airports within Australia available for use.
Requirements:

RA-Aus Constant Speed Unit
Getting your Constant Speed Unit endorsement allows you to fly more complex and powerful aircraft that have variable pitch propellers.
Requirements:

RA-Aus Retractable Undercarriage
The Retractable Gear rating enables you to fly aircraft with retractable undercarriage.
